Lore History: Parents and paternal grandparents members of Clan Wavesong, which was decimated by a Serthis ambush and moved from Nature to Water (Navhara).

Peaceful, but surprisingly forceful when she chooses to speak. A mediator. Truly believes in clan unity and that her Clan can create great things together. Not a great fighter, but has a touch of magic. Growing into a motherly figure, one who watches out for all the younglings, even those not her own. A willing mentor and adviser, but not a pushover or a proxy on which to take out your anger or frustration. Adores her mate Tigrina for her courage and dedication to the Clan which has welcomed them both.
Ethlaine was born to Clan Wavesong following their resettlement in Water territory after the ravages of the Serthis. The overall atmosphere during her youth was nervousness and a fierce clinging of Clanmate to Clanmate. From this she learned that family always comes first, come hell or high water, as it were. She ultimately chose to leave her Clan and the Tidelord's lands entirely, unable to shake that nigh-inborn fearfulness, seeking to become stronger on her own. When Tangle and her newborn Clan chose to den near the Driftwood Drag, Ethlaine soon learned of the newcomers and was amenable to joining them.
