Silver Ore Blue Rose
Simple Iron Necklace

The crashing of metal on steel echoed throughout the forge, the heat scorching to those unaccustomed that enter while she works. Sparks soared through the air like a rising phoenix above Khashada, but she hardly noticed through each swing. While the work, a silver steel necklace, was simple, she treated the process as if she were a doctor in surgery. Her hammer her scalpel, and the steel her patient. Every hit was precise as she bent the metal to her whim. Every dent impacting in such a way that soon the necklace began to form from the silver starting lump Reign had brought her the day before. Grinning to herself, she wiped the sweat from her face and stood back. The newly formed necklace still glowed from the embers, and would go for 5,000 treasure alone without polishing. She would present her work to Xolic later. For now, she sighed in content with another job well done and began to clean her workshop after quenching the finished item. Her personal pieces hung along the wall, ranging from the sharpest of swords to finer jewelry, and glowed a soft orange from reflecting against the flames. She left the fire going because she knew Moral would come back from his patrol soon, and something of his will most definitely be broken. She also cleared the floor, as it seemed if one thing was out of line he would trip without a doubt. The sun was beginning to set below the horizon as she sat and waited for his return. Her stomach growled and with a start, she realized she hadn’t eaten since the fish Reign had left her earlier and a rose. With yet another sigh and a glance at her forge, she ambled down to find a snack from the food storage. Moral could wait.

Khashada’s workplace was just as much home as her den was. Stepping into the vast room, natural gray stone tiles line the floor while dark-looking wood beams make up the rest of the structure. Her favorite personal pieces line the sidewalls, showing her craftsmanship. While there is no door, the place is never cold. The right of the back wall displays a hung parchment of her current project. Below it reveals a workbench scattered with blueprints of various weapons, seemingly created from scratch. Some still lie unfinished. The center of the room holds the mighty forge, embers still glowing. The forge itself seems to be built out of dark stone to form a circle, a hand fan to one side perched within the creation. The ever-present smell of smoke seems to permeate the air, the same smell that seems to follow Khashada. The corner front of the workshop holds her portable anvil, not meant to be but ever-moving anyway. A teal banner across from the anvil at the entrance shows a depiction of some sort of skull, similar to the one tied to her wing. It hangs from the first beam, swaying gently in the breeze. The cloth looks to be frayed. Outside the entrance lies a worn path containing both rocks and dirt leading downward and to the right, toward the faction’s center.
