Personality
Raised within a Talonik clan, Locust is evidently bird-like in manner, and fluent in their language, crafts, and culture, although she seems to lack that of her own kind. She is fiercely protective of the bird-kind who watched over her while she grew and grew far greater than her adoptive clanmates, yet she longs deeply for something more than the safety of her home.

Appearance
Locust's towering size and ridged, spined hide make her a terrifying adversary, yet, the daunting presence she presents when enraged give way to a clumsy and oafish joviality when in a comfortable environment. Much larger than the creatures who raised her, she often tries to squeeze into small places and finesse her way through tasks far too delicate for her imposing size. Excessive preening, dust baths, and careful grooming learned from the Talonok, however, leave her strong form burnished.

History
Found as a strangely large egg by a kind-hearted Raptorik, she was taken into the clan and raised alongside the much smaller talonok hatchlings. Despite her size, she was fully accepted by the flock and became a loyal protector of her Avian family. However, her differing nature and instinct to seek a charge leave her feeling restless and uncertain among the Talonok, despite her love for them.
