Traditional Gaoler seeker, hunting the shade around the globe. He's very interested in the cryptid legend of Tidehome concerning an entity that was chained to a ship graveyard. Kaluak is not so naive as to believe stories, but knows they are anchored in truth. It's worth a look. Stores all demon spirits/shades in glass bottles.

Why Kaluak has settled in the most happily naive town around remains a mystery. As long as he doesn't scare too many guests away he is welcome to a home and food. Also, Atuat has made it very clear he needs to keep his shade "collection" far away from town. There will be no disturbing the peace with literal evil.
