Alik

The dragonet chosen to take over after Smolder. As per tradition it was decided that Alik would be the only one of his dragonets to continue leading within the tribe, her siblings heading off to serve under the Lightweaver, or simply preserve the old ruins of the ancients.
Being that she, along with Knight, are the only two dragons still within the direct tribe that uphold the original royal lineage, her importance to the tribe as a whole has doubled.
Though she is still primarily a sort of spiritual leader, her place on queen Cinder's council is that more of her scholar half. She works closely with dragons like Arwyn and Nebula to return the tribe to order and prosperity, however it is also her job to help plan and research for the future. Her breakthroughs in medicine in other similar studies should never be understated.

Recently it was announced that, along with Alik now getting to have a successor Alik will be the one to continue on the bloodline and provide a new heir to the throne. Many members of the tribe seem to have mixed feelings on the arrangement. After all the most important job of Alik's side of the family is to purely upkeep their duties to the tribe. People are unsure of what happened to any sort of arrangement with Knight, the only surviving child of Princess Flare and what is considered to be the true ruling bloodline of Golden Skies.
