Biography

There is a dragon lying still in the grass, the sun beating harshly down on its soft feathers. You squint, duck your head, and watch for any movement besides that of the wind rustling its fur. It looks dead, long dead. The smell is atrocious, and a rat keeps ducking in and out from under the shade of its limp, outstretched wing. Yet, as it lifts its enormous head to stare at you with its infected, pustule-like eyes, you realize that despite its mortal wounds, it won't die.
