NIX
— She's Alive! (Mostly) —

Once a feared pirate queen, Nix is now only a shadow of what she was long ago. (Listen, death will do that to a girl!) It must have been years since she fell with the last of her flaming vessel, The Siren's Tide, into the dark and murky unknown against the jagged rock of the Crystalspine Reaches... yet here she is again. Hooray. She owes her "eternal thanks" to the novice necromancer, Halley, who happily disturbed her "eternal rest" on behalf of her mourning mate. Halley claims she only botched the job slightly and it's fine, really, she is just like before! Don't mind the myriad of whispering voices that seem to breathe in your ear when she is around-- it's just those pesky ancestors trying to pull her soul back into the underworld! Nothing to worry about really, since her soul is nice and safe elsewhere anyways! (Huh? Oh no that's fine too, very normal.)

What feels like a lifetime ago she and her crew of discourteous marauders were truly a force to be reckoned with on the wild high seas. These days however, you're likely to find her carefully stitching the failing seams of her little Phylactery or quietly keeping watch over the clans small and dusty cemetery on the edge of Starwood Strand. There she collects and replaces the long-forgotten wilted flowers and cleans the crumbling headstones of her lost crew. After all it's what she would have liked done for herself had she a say in the matter.
