Enipeus is a assassin who only cares about one thing: his pride. He was sent on a mission to kill Gritzgore after word got out that a creepy witch was practicing necromancy, but then prairie greeted him and assumed he was staying at bright-side indefinitely.

He assumed this because Eni had just recently turned into a fae (he needed the smaller size for reconnaissance purposes) and thus didn't know how to convey emotions yet. His typical 'serious business brooding face' came across more as, 'hello friend i am here looking for home and love and im very friendly,' to those who understand fae.

and then since Prairie thought he wanted to live here, to kill gritzgore would be admitting he DIDNT actually know what fae emotions meant, and that was defeat. so Eni decided to just... go along with it! No one knows about his mistake, he gets to finally settle down, and Prairie is highkey hot very hospitable.
