Notes from Field Researcher Mirale:

I don't know his name, but I know he was a well-known scholar of the Mirrorlight Promenade before he was assimilated. I recognized his colors and eyes, both of which he retained even after being transformed into a monster. No one ever reported him as missing despite being such a notable figure, and I can't really help but think it's because to others, it's a relief that he's "gone". From what I know, he wasn't the best person, awfully rude and snotty, your typical know-it-all...but other dragons not even reporting him missing? Tidelord be damned, even I would've said something.

I learned of his new whereabouts when I decided to take a trip to the Starfall Isles to see what Helica, Epitome's primary target and leader of a coalition of Primal-eyed consciousnesses, was up to. She and two of her Ridgeback praetorians had gone out to the border of the Tangled Wood and Sunbeam Ruins, meeting with an unknown Shadow Primal consciousness, Vassago the Plague Primal consciousness, and this former scholar. Unlike true hive drones and consciousnesses I've seen, they all spoke the language of dragons - what they all formerly were. While listening to them, I learned the Shadow Primal Pearlcatcher's name was Amanita...but the scholar couldn't remember his own name. It was lost when he was assimilated. Helica attempted to help him with trying to remember, but he was resistant to help.

Ultimately, the scholar ended up just arguing with the other three consciousnesses about their efforts to aid him in remembering who he was and then their plans to destroy Epitome, and he stormed off back to his fledgling hive. As stubborn and unpleasant as a hivemind amnesiac as he was as a dragon.

I'm unsure if he's still associated with Helica, but occasionally I'll see a couple rosy strange drones about the Sunbeam Ruins, watching his hive and the drones that go in and out of its entrance.
She's keeping an eye on him.

This one's new. His Hive is already spread near my home, the Forgotten Library. I've named him The Radiance. He seems....uncombative.

This Consciousness seems enamored by the thing...the Emperor Statue, I mean.

I'm unsettled by this fact.

It's intigrated itself into the Library, becoming the Archiver. He's in charge of all the history that we own.
