______ Madeira is a dance around a bonfire, the scent of fresh pies on the air, the sound of shekeres and güiros carved from gourds. She is a ritual of love and thanks, and only the exceptionally jaded would think to miss out on her. If the old legends are true and every dragon with a starmap across their scales is a fallen piece of our sky, she must've been the trusted tapestry of the harvest moon. Merriment and fortune follow the beat of her wings closely. As clear as her charge is, Madeira is convinced that she found a home. A clan where the dragons know how to celebrate life, somewhere with lush field to cavort in and a soft bed of straw to rest on.
