Born to a Shadow male pearlcatcher and a Wind female pearlcatcher in a Wind lair, Riverlight migrated from the lair after her parents had left to join the Windsinger and Shadowbinder respectively. She ended up in a Water Lair and mated with a Light mirror, bearing two children, a mirror and a pearlcatcher, the former who stayed in a Water Lair, the latter ending up in a Light Lair. She then mated again and had two more children with another Water pearlcatcher and bore two children, all three who would go on to serve the Tidelord.

Eventually she left the lair and ended up wandering the world. Some time later she found herself back in the Tidelord's domain and ended up settling down in a lair that took in every and all dragon who sought shelter. Welcomed by Permafrost and Shyrza, Riverlight took on whatever tasks needed to be met, such as gathering or, once she had gained enough fighting experience, hunting to help fill their stores up.

She, one day, finally mastered her ability of the mages to help defend the lair in case of trouble. She is proud to have sent all of her children born in the Wavedancer Clan to the Tidelord to help bolster his ranks. Whether it is teaching the young how to cast spells or gathering supplies for the lair, Riverlight is content to do what is needed of her and assist the lair in its ever expanding size.
