ABOUT

Asteria is a master crafter of lies and manipulations. As a Skydancer, she is highly attuned to the emotions and thoughts of other dragons, and taking advantage of this, she preys on their fears and aspirations to bend narratives to her will. She knows how to bring dragons to her side, and how to wry every secret dry out of them.

For the most part, Asteria gives her loyalty to the Sanctum. She does not subject her clanmates to her manipulation tactics and treats them with genuine respect, though for trivial matters, she may try to get away with a lie or two. Due to the fact that she tends to act independently than in tandem with the Sanctum's motives, not all are willing to lay their trust on her. Asteria is quite snarky, sarcastic, and uncaring in manner, but she is nonetheless valued for her diligence, devotion, and intuitiveness.

Asteria is deeply drawn to the shadows due to her nature, but at the same time, she does not wish to permanently leave her birthplace and flight of origin. To compromise, she considers herself allied to both the elements of Shadow and Ice. When conflict arises between the two flights, however, she ultimately sides with her clan, and therefore their loyalty to the Icewarden.

Asteria is almost never seen without the company of Morik, her familiar. They are immensely trusting in each other, and they work well in tandem in their insidious tactics. Though Morik once allied himself with Shadow, he has since resigned his allegiance to the Shadowbinder to join his companion in the Icewarden's Domain.
