  B O E I N G 
 With no heir willing to succeed Frostcall; the Queen of Winter, a suitable successor was chosen instead. It was a nasty smudge on her lineage to bear two sons and a daughter of which none rose to their claim birthright. Hope spawned for Thaw, Frostcall’s only grandson. He had shown promise in his upbringing, but the fruits of his labor went to waste when his heart suddenly sprouted second thoughts. The queen reveled in her shame, for many other houses already found successors, some even born in the clan. Her wrath in her heart fueled a horrendous blizzard that encased the queen whilst she gathered her thoughts. Then, her storm subsided, as she sought a solution no other house had ever considered…finding a successor from a different clan, but born of the same frostbitten vigor as her. She dispatched her scouts, wraiths, and wights to all corners of the coldest, glacier-encased clans in the Southern Icefield. One by one, notes on the clan’s sizes, nests, and resident dragons were delivered to Frostcall daily. She brushed aside most of the eligible successors, until her claws traced the description of one in particular. He was a prisoner of his own torment. His eyes cursed to see the plight of his former home for eternity. Some say he could lay wastes to clans without a hint of fear, commanding sieges of snow streaks and permafrost impalers. Freezing victims in glaciers was a morbid pastime of this spawn of ice, and summoning spires of ice upon the battlefield were mere glimpses of his true power. When Frostcall laid eyes on the prized pupil, she was impressed by his vigor and haunting apathy for anything but ice. Almost immediately, he was inducted into the House of Winterbite with great honor, and sat at Frostcall’s side as her future, Winterbite’s future. But Boeing’s presence marked the beginning of a volatile change within the minds of one of the clan’s eldest houses, a change that threatened the very existence of the past and the future… .
