L U I S I V E R E _The Plague _______________ __of Paradise__ |
|
‣Personality: Cold, wary, bitter ‣Likes: Solitude, chocolate, hideaways. ‣Dislikes: Strangers, bright lights, talking. |
Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night; __Luis grasped at the frail tendrils of light, a roar spewing from his gaping jaws. But though he clutched, he was hurled down. The bright light seared his eyes but was gone in an instant, and for the moment he was entirely blind. He struck the ground hard, felt his bones grate and snap. Bitter rain pattered down around him, hissing where they burned his battered wings. __For a long while, he hardly moved, his breath rasping through his chest, eyes half-lidded. His vision eased back, and Luis lifted his head as the last of the stinging rain finally abated. Groaning, he pushed himself to stand, and looked around, blinking. The sky was a sickly orange yellow, and the texture of the ground revealed itself as layers and layers of thorny vines, tipped green with poison. __For a long while, he hardly moved, his breath rasping through his chest, eyes half-lidded. The sky was a sickly orange yellow, and the texture of the ground revealed itself as layers and layers of thorny vines, tipped green with poison. __Luis turned about curiously, and then took a few limping steps, his movement slow and pained. He turned his gaze upwards, but could find no sign of the Paradise he had enjoyed until now. He was seized with the urge to hide from the light, from his sins. Ignoring his pains, he ripped at the thorns, his claws sharp. He burrowed down, down, down, until he was completely immersed in darkness. And exhausted, he slept.
In what distant deeps or skies,
Burnt the fire of thine eyes? |
‣Did he who made the Lamb make thee? |
When the stars threw down their spears,
___________And watered heaven with their tears: __The first impression one gets of Luis Paradisus is that he is extremely unfriendly. Because of his cold and standoff-ish personality, word of his decisions are passed through Indra, and occasionally Charyn. __He is known to be smart, but slow to react, and much prefers solving matters through physical efforts than social. His trust is hard won, but he is steadfastly loyal. To his clan he may seem mean, but to strangers he is downright cruel. Rarely is he seen apart from important ceremonies or the odd sighting from afar. |
