There were only two eggs in this nest. The parents aren't a pair. They never thought they would one day mate; they're in different groups of Perihelion Watch and not very likely to run into one another... yet it happened. On one night, Taffy and Escarbille laid together to fend off darkness and loneliness, and she only made two eggs. She brought one to Taffy and kept the other: of course, he hatched Yin and she hatched Yang. The two hatchlings have yet to meet, but they can be seen in startling contrast with their respective parents on occasions.
