Members of House Runesworn love to explore, searching for lost spells and magical phenomena across Sornieth. They are extremely adept at creating and manipulating charmed objects, as well as the study and use of magical runes. Their most hidden talent though, is their unrivalled skill when it comes to casting all manner of curses, and creating even the most innocuous of cursed objects. Known cursed objects that Runesworn has created include a pen that insults the dragon trying to use it, parchment that sticks to whoever picks it up, and a book that drives any dragon who reads it insane.
The House is also considered the most technologically advanced, always inventing new machines and items meant to help in their experiments. The House frequently trades with the dragons of Lightning, who don’t care about dealing with the temperamental magical machines that Runesworn builds. They are often found plundering the Tangled Wood for new artefacts and books to study surrounding the myths and legends of the Shade, seeking to commune with or summon the entity that nearly destroyed their world more than once. It is for this reason that the House is looked upon so suspiciously. Shatterspell members are dangerous because they lack foresight; Runesworn members are dangerous because they lack concern.
What to do: Using FR items as components, create a spell you could see a dragon in our house using. You can be as simple or as creative as you want!
