HR70lpH.gif History
Eighth born son of Apollo, one of 5 to remain homebound, Xyre’s emergence into the clan was a far cry from that of his siblings. Whilst not the first to be born without a code of stars, his scales were a sickly gray color: barren of starlight and strength. Rumors of his peculiar appearance clung to his conscience. Dragons all over the clan suspected the dark magic of Naiamede’s daughter Nether (Xyre’s niece) had somehow affected the inheritance of Xyre’s birthright. Xyre’s inability to wield the magic of the stars that had given his family life ostracized him from most of the teachings from the instructors and top mages.

Much like his older brother Skyrim, Xyre too was forced to channel what little magic he had into a different form of craft, or rather another profession. Following behind Remnant, Azaghal, and Azkaban in their daily routines, Xyre soon developed a curiosity for the remains of dragons passed. He puzzled over bones of the ancestral dragons, collecting them and studying the faint remains of stardust still clinging to the marrow on the inside.

As his curiosity progressed, the ancient stardust slowly dusted all of Xyre’s own scales, giving him an unstable source of magic. Many tried to warn him, including Remnant, and even his own siblings. The instability anchored itself to Xyre’s body, causing pockets of concentrated magic to form on his scales, and crystallize into patches of opal. Some say he is too far enthralled with the bones, which unsurprisingly resulted in his appointment as the Ancestral Bonekeeper.

Forever entranced, Xyre is often found roaming the outskirts of the House of Shadowstride mumbling to himself whilst brandishing his collection of bones…
