With the creation of the universe and the creation of dragons, there were a few dragons created to protect the galaxies and the organisms within it. These were the guardian deities. They were called the Celestial Society.
These dragons were gifted with mystical abilities. The dragons used these abilities to regulate what they had been chosen to guard over. The Celestial Society would protect their planets and stars from the other planets and their corresponding guardians. Even if the guardian did not agree with their planet’s actions, they were obligated to follow their lead. This created tension between the members of the Celestial Society.

Each galaxy had a leader and it’s own separate unit of the Celestial Society. The Milky Way is lead by its sun’s guardian, Helios. He is a strong and powerful ruler, keeping the other guardians in line, with the exception of planetary actions. He is seen by most of the Milky Way as a father figure, looking after them and their galaxy.
