______ It all so happened so fast. One moment, he was a beautfully and newly transmutated dragon into that of an ancient, beautiful new body offering new possibilties for him. The next, he found himself locked in terribly cold silver chains and within an icy prison under an enormous Guardian seemingly of ice itself. He was now the Guardian's playtoy...he was nothing more than the snow he walked on. Emal's life was over before it had a chance to restart anew, and it was all to the talons of that horrible icy Guardian, Blizzard.

______ To his dismay, he wasn't the first dragon stuck here. There was another dragon, still alive, that wasn't turned into one of the many statues he saw littered across the hellscape Blizzard called his 'palace'. A young female Pearlcatcher named Flare. She had been in here for who knew how long...she barely had any fire left within her. The ice had almost completely consumed her. It grown so far into her that the insides of her mouth were caked in ice crystals. That all of her color had severely dulled, much like his own. His wings used to be such a beautiful vibrant red, but now radiated a chilling dark blue. She had been imprisoned here so much longer..and Emal realized that he too was now locked to the same fate. The rest of his existence was locked to ice.
