Biography
Derfel has been badly burned by an encounter that also left his friend Buttermilk injured. Neither speak of it. Derfel never let up searching for a way to improve himself and submitted to an experiment from a secretive Lightning Clan. He was transformed into the blue-on-blue cyborg that he is today... and he loves it. His friend Buttermilk went in a different direction... also very successfully.
Neither will talk about the day they were injured, but it is clear that at least one (likely both) of them harbor plots for revenge and that it somehow involves Luminax.
