"I'm born to this place, hatched from the egg. I don't know where to go. I feel hungry, so I just ate the grass nearby. I am lonely and scared. Every night I dream about a bright light, and every time I can see something in it getting clearer and clearer each night. It looks something like me, except its whole body has the golden colors of the sun. It's calling me, but I don't understand a single word. Sooner, it becomes clear. I can see it, no I can see her. I can finally understand her. She told me she is the Goddess of light, I am her child. She also said I will soon learn the meaning of life as my species, and the day I die is the day I serve her. I didn't understand completely but I trusted her. That was the last time I dream't about her

I didn't move around much because I was afraid something might happen to me. I decided this will be my spot. No matter what, I will come back to this side to rest.

One day, I saw some tiny animal running around where I am. Thinking they might be food, I chased them. When I caught it and was about to eat, I realized that two scary looking beasts were heading towards me. I ran as fast as I could, I didn't know what else to do. I came to the corner of a wall, with no where to go, before I knew it, I'm trapped! The beasts weren't big. They were about my size. I lost my breath for a second. Then, my body seems to react by itself. I scratched them with my sharp claws a few times. One fled and the other couldn't run because of the pain. By the time I stopped, the beast already fainted. I felt something telling me to eat it. Was it because I was hungry? No, it wasn't. It was instinct I believe. Instinct helped me survive back there.

Few days later, I met other creatures that look like me. I approached them and they did not attack or run. I don't know if they will kill me but I can sense that they are friendly. One of them used the two "extra hands" behind it to fly. I was surprised. I didn't know that is the way to use it, but every time when the winds are strong, these hands feel kinda nice. Looking at the creature's way of flapping them, I try to mimic the movement a little. Everyday I flap them the way I remembered. It took awhile but before I knew it, I too can fly.

Years later, a fine young female dragon, slightly younger than me, came to my so called Lair. She was larger than I am. Her scales look beautiful. It was blue as the sea. Her wings are as beautiful as the sunset. She got near me, not only that I feel that she is friendly, but I also felt something else. My heart felt warm and it pumped faster then normal. I was nervous. We interacted with each other through telepathy. Turns out she and I have a lot in common. She also told me that she was looking for a mate. I didn't know how to respond. I started telling her how beautiful she looks. She laughed a bit.

We spend time together till night where the moon is up. We were just sitting and looking out into the sea. I cuddled her a little, she cuddles back. Then I licked her on the cheek, she licked back. We did this a few times and before we knew it, we mated!" ~Kai
