♛ HISTORY
The last thing Arpeggio inteded to do, already being the ward of so many, was have a child of his own. As he tells it, with flustered, gloomy embarrassment, Clover was a happy accident. With an unknown second parent, it seems likely that they would have, regardless, ended up in a foster home sooner or later, so the choice to keep them seemed obvious. The true miracle is that fact that Clover wasn't dropped as an egg.

Growing up among so many other, often older, foster childen led to a bit of a middle-child syndrome. Clover was treated no more or less specially than the others, and while he would have it no different, it often led to a feeling of being sub-par. Meeting Oleander while they were at their lowest, loneliest point felt like the only lucky thing that ever happened to them, even if everything that followed could be argued as being extremely unlucky.

♛ STORY
Clover spent a good portion of their early life trying to avoid trouble. Living with an aspiring revolutionist, this was made somewhat harder, and more or less just putting off the inevitable. As soon as Marjani caught wind that he was friends with a (self-declared, mind you) professional theif, all bets were off. Before they knew it, Clover was being dragged into a mad heist, with an uncertain but most definitely illegal end goal. Well, someone had to act as the voice of reason here.
