Thrym

Thrym was King of Jotnar, the home of the frost giants. Thrym stole Thor's hammer, Mjölnir, to extort the gods into giving him Freya as his wife. Freya refused to be a part of the scheme to retrieve Mjölnir. Instead Thor disguised himself as Freya.
Thor didn't make an especially convincing woman, but silver-tongued Loki was able to explain Freya/Thor's odd appearance. Thor's shining red eyes that shot lightning and his ability to eat an entire ox at the bridal feast was explained by Loki as the bride's nervousness and inability to eat or sleep for eight days prior to the wedding. Thrym accepted Loki's ridiculous explanations and was tricked into giving the stolen hammer to his new "bride" as a wedding gift. After recovering his stolen hammer, Thor proceeded to kill Thrym and all giants attending the wedding ceremony.
