establish clan relations SUMMARY Caerven was meant to be the heir to a prestigious kingdom, yet ultimately chose to leave the court behind. PRESENT Regularly travels around Sornieth with his mate, representing the clan he calls home. ORIGINS Caerven was meant to be the heir to a prestigious kingdom that succeeded through the magical power of its rulers, but he was born with a startlingly weak core. As the boy grew, he was constantly pressured by the surrounding nobles in order to strengthen said core, but only showed a weak affinity towards caring for plants and gardening. When his younger brother was born, Caerven was greatly relieved as he was pushed aside in favor of his traditionally stronger sibling. The young man didn't hold an ounce of envy for his sibling. He spent his days lying in the castle gardens, surrounded by the fresh scent of the leaves and flowers, and sometimes ventured outside the grounds in order to find the wildest plants to rehome in his personal plot of land. Mainly ignored by the people around the castle, Caerven withdrew into himself, rarely speaking or attending any events. As such, it was able to remain a secret when his powers suddenly exploded in the form of meter-thick vines erupting out of the ground and strangling an attacking wild boar. A good thing as well, as he couldn't control this new and aggressive power he now possesses. Only Trementhe, a politician who stumbled across Caerven at a social event he was forced to attend, knew of his power. Despite the danger, the two enjoyed spending peaceful afternoons of hunting and gardening together. Trusting in the strange connection he shares with Trementhe, that allows him much greater control over his magic, it, along with many negative rumors about himself and his lover, led to Caerven's eventual decision to leave with the imperial. They headed south to start anew, and in the midst of a snowstorm in Ice, came across a small, peculiar clan hidden deep within a glacier. DETAILS
