D U R E R E Brat - Soft - Hot tempered The stranger dragon walked up to a small cave near a murky lake. Outside the cave on the wall, there was a small name looked to be scratched into a rock, "Durere." Then out of the cave shot a small red and black Wildclaw with a pile of gold in his arms, the gold dropping behind him as he ran. His lightning blue eyes shot over at the stranger dragon, yelping and tripping over a rock. The dragon had fell right on his face, gold flying just about everywhere. With gold on top of his head, he shouted "What are you looking at?! Go away!" He pouted and slowly started to pick up his gold, grumbling all the while. |

Biography The Abandoned Prince Durere stood in the rays of the fleeting sun. Broken, beaten, and bloody, he looked back at his former kingdom. He had a furrowed brow as he scoffed and turned to walk away into rolling hills. Soon those rolling hills had turned into mountains. After days and days of walking, he was worn thin. He stopped to sit under a small dead tree, resting his back against it gently. He watched the sky, the same sky he shared with his kingdom. He grumbled as tears filled his eyes. Soon a hand with seemingly small claws appeared in front of his face with a small chunk of meat jerky. As Durere looked up, he urgently wiped his tears away. The stranger dragon smiled and softly started to speak, "I am Wisp, would you like to be family?" He was shocked, quickly looking behind Wisp to see a small Coatl shaking his head while sighing loudly. Durere took the jerky and quickly scarfed it down. Afterwards, he stood up and smiled. He spoke to Wisp, introducing himself. "I am Durere Ji...just...just Durere.” The group of three then slowly headed up a huge mountain. The trio got to a cliff side with a large cave opening. Wisp cleared her throat and softly said a few words which all dragons who heard her speak such words would not remember a single syllable. But soon a long Spiral looking alike a galaxy came outside of the dark cave. He wrapped himself around Durere. Durere was freaking out as this almost transparent dragon engulfed him. "Accepted" he said as the Spiral turned into vapor and blew away. Durere was scared and without words, but then Wisp took his hand and ran into the cave. Wisp then threw him into a large portal, seemingly a door. Durere was soon in mid air on the other side. He screamed as he plummeted to the ground. Shortly after plummeting to the ground, a golden looking dragon practically made out of glitter swooped down and hit Durere into a lake. The dragon screamed at Wisp who was flying mid air and chuckling a touch. "Mom! Why would you just toss the newbie right into the portal?! He can’t fly! You're just making my job so much harder!!" The bright Coatl scoffed and flew back to a cliff on the cave wall. Durere landed in the lake making a huge splash. He gasped for air and he clawed his way out of the deep murky lake. Once out of the lake, he coughed up some water and started shaking like a wet dog. Wisp flew down and patted his head. "Oh so that’s why you were walking all that time? No one ever took the time to teach you to use your beautiful wings huh?" Durere looked at Wisp with a glare that could kill. He got to his feet and burst out yelling at Wisp. Durere started to shout, "A PRINCE HAS NO NEED TO FLY!" Wisp laughed and pointed to a small cave near the lake. "How about you take that cave? How about it Du? Become one of us, join my family, and I can show you all that you have missed in life." He stepped back not knowing what to say. After a few moments his expression softened and a small smile appeared on his worn face. Tears streaming down his face he nodded rapidly. He started jumping down to Wisp and hugged her tightly. She smiled and patted the crying boy's head. From afar the small Coatl smiled and wiped a small tear off of his cheek. "This is it father, I found my place, my home. More importantly my family. Oh how I hope you never come for me." -Durere |
