Cricketleap is a third generation dragon, and so like Willow and Poplar manifested Natural powers stronger than a regular Affixion. But Cricket's powers emerged late, and are weaker than those of Willow and Poplar. Cricket's powers are to see into the minds of the animals around them, to calm and to a lesser extent talk to them, but Cricket can't control minds like Poplar can.
