★★★ Her name and coloration may conjure up mental images of a roaring flame, and she is a warrior, but Blazon is by no means hot-headed. Off the battlefield, friends and foes alike describe her as invariably friendly, a comforting prescence, and an unmatched advice-giver. She's not an outgoing sort of dragon, but one you can always confide in in your weak moments. Blazon would never fault you for your flaws.
It may be a bit offputting, then, when you ask her where she feels most at home, and she bares her teeth in a grin, a bit of the Arcanist's mania shining through in her eyes, and responds with the name of a Coliseum venue your unleveled self wouldn't dream of stepping foot in.
Blazon fights for two reasons. The first is sheer love of physical fighting. She treats her battles like dances, always watching her step, defeating gracefully, accepting defeat gracefully. She has a lightness to her flights and landings that very few Guardians possess. She is not a vain dragon, but she must admit she enjoys having an audience when she fights. Battling is not only her occupation, it's her passion and her art.
The second reason is a love of justice and of upholding morality. She does not wage war unless her clan has been provoked, because she revels in the glory of a victory truly deserved. She sees war as a necessary and proud part of Sornieth's history, because it provides dragons with the opportunity to learn so many important skills and lessons. Bravery, fortitude, humility, chivalry, and a love for the fleeting lives we have on our planet. The suffering of war is an unfortunate price for these lessons, one that Blazon can forgive no more than you and I can. For that reason, she ensures that the net outcome of her fighting is a positive one. Blazon likely could not live with herself if the amount of pain she caused were to outweigh the suffering she'd ultimately prevented.
