Biography
Folklore
The Flesh-eating Beast
"There is a tale of a monster - one so horrible and cruel that even the mention of its name is enough to send shivers down one's spine. It is said that the creature is constantly hungry for the flesh of other dragons, its hunger and greed for more growing with each kill. Some who claim to have seen the beast say that it looked like a wildclaw: three pairs of sharp horns protrude out of its skull on each side, small, lifeless and sunken in eyes, a worn and tattered mane of feathers on the back of its neck and four limbs drenched in dried blood. Whenever the monster is out hunting, ghastly calls resembling that of a dragon screaming in pure agony can be heard echoing through the forest. A few even say that they heard it scream out "Help me" in a distorted draconic voice. While many heavily advise to stay indoors and hidden from the beast, they know that that won't be enough to save you. All it takes is for the creature to get a whiff of your scent to track you down. The details of what the monster does to a dragon once caught are unknown, however, if the remains of its victims are anything to go by, it first tears off the flesh and scales, then it tears out your eyes and sometimes even teeth, all while you're still breathing. The victims might pass out from pain before they are killed, since most of the time the screaming stops while the tearing of flesh is still heard. And all that's left of the corpse are the bloodstained surroundings and maybe a few scraps of bones and meat. Many refuse to call it by name, but the locals have named this creature… the Wendigo."
Further lore notes: Comes from a society of dragons who are big on their markings. The brighter the markings are in contrast to the dragon's hide, the more respected you are in their society. What kind of markings that dragon has determines the dragon's role. (Sub-species people, get on this crap)
