Chlorophyll (Phyll for short) is an amateur wizard, studying under Viola and MissFortune. While they have mastered visions and voodoo respectively, Phyll studies magic relating to living things; plants and animals. Since practising magic on animals is banned by Clan laws, he mostly works with plants; instant flowering spells, doubling fruit output, even reviving dying grasses.

However, Phyll did try animal magic once. On himself. He ended up with a thick layer of fur on his shoulders, chest and tail. He asked Viola to remove the fur, since he didn't have the power to do so himself, but she refused. She chose to leave it, as a reminder to "never mess with animal magic again."

He tried asking MissFortune for help instead, but she simply laughed and gave him a matching pair of antennae. He doesn't speak to her much anymore.
