Vincix couldn't help the small smile of his at the sight of the imperial tucked away in one of the alcoves of the library. It was one of the more secluded areas on the second floor, far away from the railing and kept in low light due to the absence of windows in that particular spot. It was often where Vincix could find Hyaan, and he was glad to see him after more than a few days of noting his absence.

Hyaan looked up at him as he padded softly over to him. There was a momentary flash of hesitation in his eyes as though he didn't want to see Vincix, but it was quickly replaced by a fatigued look, one that matched the rest of his body.

"Bad day?" he asked.

Hyaan gave him a small nod.

"How about some company?"
