Biography
ALCOR
|
Children produced from this union of the skilled smith Rhiana and expert runecarver Ronele are not flesh and blood, but beautifully sculpted steel, brought to life by Ronele's magic. They send these creations out into the world proudly, eager to display the achievements of their art. The pair's first creation, Alcor came out a little lumpy and weird, disappointing Ronele at once. Even Rhiana struggled to pretend satisfaction with him: she was an artist, after all, and she could hardly call Alcor her best work. In fact, his creators resisted the idea of sending him away at all, not because they cared for him but because they felt embarrassed by him and didn't want anyone else to see their rough first draft. Alcor's faults extend to his behavior as well: he acts unnaturally, with no understanding of what is and isn't acceptable dragon behavior. He often unnerves or outright offends others, though he isn't so much rude as just ... strange. Accustomed to disappointing others from his first moments, he barely even knows to be bothered by adverse reactions. |
