Biography

‹━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━«
When the Undying Emperor walked into the Church of Light, he did not expect to find one of his servants, his spies there. A remnant from an easier, simpler time. When the Emperor demanded the return of said servant, his request was met with hostility and denial. Hiding behind the High Priest, Angelus begged the man not to sent him with Titaneaus and he got his wish in more ways than one. The Emperor promised to leave the two of them alone in exchange for a lock of Ahlrik’s hair and a scale from Angelus. A strange request that still granted, only for Titaneaus to laugh and start wielding his powers. The Emperor did not hesitate but created a being by fusing the two things requested, formed flesh and bones and covered it with skin and scales, until the shape had taken the form of a tiny hatchling, weak and with colors that made sure who his creators were. Where as Ahlrik was furious and rightfully so, Angelus wanted nothing more than to protect an innocent child, even one that should not exist. It was clear what Titaneaus’ meaning behind creating this boy was, an insult to the Church of Light, to the Son of the Lightweaver. The boy’s eyes fluttered open and Ahlrik’s angry screams reached a new height as he demanded the dead of the boy. Angelus held his protective hand over the child and their compromise was still painful. Blood red eyes were plucked out and empty eye sockets hidden away behind a blindfold. The pain passed and the blindness became part of the boy’s life as memories of his awakening faded. The hatred, the living, breathing insult he represented however, never faded, instead it reached out like a contagious disease, infected many of the Church, even though Angelus tried to protect him, he was not there all the time, had his own duties and was always at Ahlrik’s side. Babar, the boy, still remained proud and strong, took all his strength out of the fact that he was the son of the High Priest, even if it was denied and hushed up, he knew it better. No matter how hard they tried to deny him, he still was here, living, breathing and laughing in their faces. Taking the hatred against him and turning it into his passion, Babar started to trail after Ahlrik, picked up his mannerisms, yet gave them his own twist. Whereas Ahlrik was untouchable, Babar was right there, among the people, laughing, smiling. He did it to spite the man that helped create him and it filled him with so much satisfaction. Of course he knew this was a dangerous game, but what had he to lose? His life? He shouldn’t even exist, so it didn’t matter to him anyways. |
