-Born to an clan of oracles, Insight's whole clan knew he was to be a great oracle. He has been groomed to be a nomadic oracle his whole life.

“Insight, look into here, what do you see?”

The tiny mirror stood on his hind legs and stretched his neck over the lip of the scrying pool, his deep blue eyes staring back at him. He furrowed his brow and frowned.

“All I see my reflection”

“That’s alright, it’ll come to you when you’re ready”

Insight got down from the scrying pool and scowled.

“How do you know mom?”

Barnacle smiled and took her pearl out of her satchel

“You see this Insight?”

“It’s just your pearl"

Barnacle glared at her son and he looked down at his feet

“Sorry…”

“I can see the future in the reflection of my pearl, and when you were still just an egg I saw you in my pearl. I saw that you were going to be a fantastic oracle, more talented than anyone in our clan, that you were going to travel Sornieth and help the dragons of many lands. And it wasn’t just me who saw it, so did many others in the clan.”

“Well maybe your prophecies were wrong…”

“Nonsense Insight, it will come to you when the Tidelord thinks you are ready”

“That might take a while…”

“Well patience is a virtue Insight. Trust me, one day you will help many many dragons, you just have to be patient”
