Streak's name: Peck

With her temper and claws being a perfect matched set, it's not easy to get to know Bloodstone. The only ones who have come close are her sisters in arms, Eki and Scochi, and her biological sister, Bicker.

She limped into the still budding clan with an injured wing and a chip on her shoulder. Nursing her back to health was unpleasant for all involved, and everyone hoped she would choose to move on. It was with great relief that they heard her say, angry and snarling, that as soon as she was healed she would be on her way. That she'd "sooner face an emperor than stay with you pathetic lot."

But her plans to leave dissolved one day when she witnessed Dreamfyre take down a rogue Longneck that had sneaked into the clan’s den and attempted to steal their food. When confronted, the Mirror hesitantly agreed to train her.

Bloodstone enjoyed the training. She loved slashing at the various beasts and triumphing over them time and again, and Dreamfyre had to admit, she was good at it... In an unsettling, joyous way. That innate talent only served to increase everyone's horror when Bloodstone declared she was going nowhere after all, that she would stay and fight for the clan’s protection.

Onra certainly considered telling her no, and with so many dragons wanting exactly that, she almost did. But Scochi, who'd been having a growing interest in starting her own training, requested her mother let Bloodstone stay. "At least for a while," she'd said, "I think she's getting better. She'll be downright tolerable someday, I'm sure."

Scochi hoped Eki, the uncontrollably cheery dragon she accepted as the third member of their team, could level out Bloodstone's dark demeanor - as well as keep the obsidian serpent reigned in from unnecessary brutality in a fight.

Plague Days:

Having long since turned her back on the Plaguebringer, Bloodstone was far from thrilled to return to her birth Flight. The frustration of the situation nearly drove her out of Avis Calvariam.

On a particularly trying day she took off alone to indulge in a solitary hunt, taking her fury out on whatever luckless creatures she found. It was on this hunt that she happened across the orphaned fire egg she claimed as her own.

She is fiercely protective of her son, Skrantsi, and one would be wise not to bring any harm to him lest they lose life or limb.

The Cloudsong:

Though having slipped back into the Wasteland gave her a sense of family with Bicker and Skrantsi, she is immensely pleased to be back in Wind territory.

She's still the same old Bloodstone, still willing to take out her claws at the slightest provocation, still largely avoided by her clanmates. But since their stay in the Wasteland and subsequent return home, she has developed a sort of grudging respect and, perhaps, even fondness for the rest of the crew.

Upon hearing Onra's plan, Bloodstone beat even Dreamfyre's time in standing up and declaring her willingness to help as much as she could. And she's been all too delighted to have Bicker and Skrantsi at her side on a hunt or raid.

Clocks' review:
I'm a male spiral kinda gal, but Bloodstone caught my eye immediately. That's no surprise - a bunch of red apparel against the black is quite stark and notice-worthy. AND she's a level 25, which is a bonus. And normally I'm not into basics, but they make that accent stand out really well. She's super cool.

This beautiful noodle. The accent is incredibly subtle, but works wonderfully with the contrasting color theme you have working for her- the stretch of neck between the clasp of the Firebreather Cape and the bottom of the Red Riding Hood is the epitome of contrast. Birdskull is usually an automatic no for me, but you manage to make the neutral grays and blacks work, somehow. Generally clean colors make for a clean dragon, but you've made a clean dragon out of greyscale ranges, which is amazing. The Bloodscale Tail Guard wrappings highlight her tail in such a clean way, which is an ingenious way of making a (better) red tail wrapping. I love the Raider's Fur Legwraps too, they're so rarely used. Overall, my favorite dragon on your front page.
(I did this review before I realized you had in depth descriptions, so I'm just going to say that her description is well balanced visually and very interesting to read.)
