Aki, male fire elemental.
Parents aren't known at this time.
Ember's best friend. Lots of cuddles. Mostly because Ember's always cold. Also totally adores the affection shhhhhh. Also Ember's future boyfriend and mate. Their ship name is Emki. Yes I made a ship name for my own OCs DON'T JUDGE ME!!

Age(s):
Is 12 upon first getting to his current place of residence.
Meets Ember at about 13-14.
Starts living mostly on his own at roughly 17-18.
Is 22 upon Ember finally hecking asking him out, much to Aki's complete delight like damn Aki was so happy.
Is 28 when Ember and him move in together, and in the 'Just Another Night' short.
Is 33 when Ember FINALLY proposes. Like hot damn that was the best day of Aki's life.
Is 34-35 when they finally get married. Mostly due to family issues. BUT HECK THAT WAS A GOOD DAY.

A pale sky blue.

Fire, of course.
Cold resistant, also of course. Fire elemental and all...
Thanks to UnderSwap's Alphys and UnderFell's Papyrus(to some degree) training him, he's pretty good at attacking and defending.
BAKING. He looooooooooooves baking. Known fact that he will be baking his own wedding cake. *nodnod*

Weaknesses:
..... Water. Of course... Probably won't kill him.
...But the one time he fell into a river in Waterfall he had the flu for a week. Not fun.
A general fear of heights. He hates them. Not sure why.

Short info thing:
A fairly protective introverted boyo who reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllly just wants hugs and books and probably some straight blacklike his soul- coffee.
Odd sense of humor, very morbid. Will apologize if he accidentally goes too far, and he realizes it, though.
Can be extremely romantic and sickeningly sweet though. Just ask Ember. He'd know.
Is an overall 'Nice to me, nice to you' kind of person.
Don't bug him while he's reading unless it's important or someone's about to die.
Actually really enjoys baking more then cooking, if he's honest.
Has an accent that makes 'er' sounds sound like an 'ah' sound.

Relationships:
Appreciates who he's stayed with for letting him stay there.
Thinks Stretch is a bit lazy, but doesn't exactly dislike him.
Likes Blue a fair amount, especially whenever he gives him cooking lessons.
Also likes Red. But mostly because he enjoys the conversations they have. And the movies. Lots of movies. The latter is usually also with Ember.
Is... Hmm... He tends to try to avoid most of the UnderFell folk. He doesn't mind the Muffet of that 'verse though, she's pretty chill in his opinion. Also doesn't mind that 'verse's Papyrus, but that might be bias as he did help train him with UnderSwap's Alphys.

Birthplace:
A pretty standard OuterTale 'verse, surprisingly unrelated to that universe's Grillby despite looking pretty similar.

Currently Lives:
In an odd joined AU space of UnderFell and UnderSwap, somehow having had gotten there from an OuterTale 'verse. Stays with UnderSwap's Alphys and Undyne until he's old enough to properly care for himself, which is when he relocates to a house on the border of Waterfall and Hotlands.

Just Another Night (Emki Short No.1):

Waking up in the dead of night was not one of Aki's favorite things to do, however he'd long since gotten used to it. Constant sleepovers and long nights spent out looking up at the crystals that lined the underside of most of the Underground, had made it possible for Aki to not be alarmed when his boyfriend woke up with a cry of terror at two in the morning.

Nightmares, again. The skeleton monster had been plagued by them for as long as Aki had known him. So much so that he knew the other rarely got proper rest, mostly running off of coffee, black tea, green tea, or a mix of all three. Anything with caffeine really. It worried him. Especially when Aki was ninety percent certain that the night terrors were why Ember still hadn't proposed to him, despite them now having had been dating for just over six years.

Not that Aki cared much. He understood why Ember was slow to do things and he also understood why Ember had yet to say the words Aki made sure to toss around liberally. He turned onto his back, reaching up and rubbing at his eyes lightly. He found himself grateful for being a fire elemental monster, though not for the first time. Always, at least faintly, glowing meant it didn't take his eyes long to adjust to the gloom of his and Ember's bedroom.

"Ember." Aki said, his voice soft and gentle with a hint of tired wariness to it. His voice was also accented, making 'Ember' sound more like 'Em-bah' and he knew the other loved it. "Ember?" he asked, a little louder as he turned to face him. He was a tad surprised that he wasn't surprised to find him curled up around his pillow with his face buried into it, shoulders shaking with sobs. Aki's soul gave a dull, pained hum at the sight. He hated seeing him like this.

So Aki moved over, laying a bit closer and putting an arm around him. He felt a pang of hurt as the other tensed, and yet it faded quickly when he remembered it wasn't at all Ember's fault. He pulled him closer, rolling again so he was mostly on his back with Ember half on top of him, letting out a yawn as he slowly started tracing shapes on his right shoulder blade with his left hand while his right arm held him lightly.

"It's okay, Ember. It's okay..." he mumbled, holding him a bit tighter when the other started crying again. Only this time his face was buried in Aki's t-shirt. They hadn't done anything but sleep in their shared bed since Ember moved in with him. And Aki was perfectly okay with letting Ember decide how fast things out happen, he'd sooner dust himself then leave him. If it took another fifty years for Ember to wake up and find that Aki wasn't leaving, then that's how long it took. He'd wait. He'd wait for an eternity if he had to.

Which is why Aki didn't care that this happened fairly often, didn't care about the tears, didn't care that Ember clung onto him like a lifeline and certainly didn't care if he apologized for it.
