Birdkeeper -- Familiar Trainer -- Keeper

Quiet and genteel, but with a lonely nature and a longing friendliness in hir nature. Shi was hatched as a Wildborn dragon, found in the wilds as a hatchling in hir early years but too late for hir to ever really adjust to domesticated, social living. Hir mannerisms are a little too eager, and shi has trouble interpreting the body language and tone of other dragons. However, Familiars have always had no trouble understanding hir, and shi loves them deeply for it.

Shi is a Familiar tamer with a deep affinity for birdkind and all that soars freely though the sky. Due to the fact that shi is earthbound like most of the rest of hir kind, this Gaoler dedicates hir time to caring for creatures who can. Shi envies them, but through them shi lives vicariously, delighting when they take wing. Shi is the primary tender of the clan's aviaries, which keep both Familiars and food birds; these large cages in the clan's gardens are always noisy with the tweeting and crying of the avian beings within, but Curie claims to enjoy the sound.

Hir love for birds is nonspecific; shi enjoys beautiful songbirds and shining parrots just as much as shi loves the intimidating carrion eaters and hunting raptors. Shi treats even half-birds with tender and kind affection, caring for the clan's hippogriffs and gryphons with just as much dedication.

Training birds to fly on command as part of performances is hir niche within the twinMoon Troupe, and shi takes great joy in the appreciation of the audience for hir birds. Shi doesn't consider hirself part of the performance; shi is simply the one the birds return to. It is the birds who the crowds come to see, and it is the birds that shi loves.

Hir room within the clan's lair is extremely bare, a simple cell carved out of the rock. Shi has a workbench in the corner where shi works on the leather leashes, hoods and jesses that are part of hir falconry.
