Clan Leader | Chaotic Good | No Inside Voice

Born to two dragons who jointly led their clan, Opal grew up learning the ways of leading such a large group of dragons; Due to the intense learning that took place, she didn’t always get to leave the lair.
When she did leave the lair, she swung in the air across fields of flowers and animals She was fascinated by the artisan crafts of lower ranked dragons. Her parent’s denied this interest, encouraging her to train and become stronger. Opal never succeeded in her traditional training, preferring sly combat to a brutal fighting style. No longer a hatchling, Opal has to leave the nest and assume her natural hierarchy within the Wildclaw exclusive clan. Now lower ranking, she was able to embrace her interest in artisan crafts, and learned to sew as well as preserve flowers. Eventually, Opal is fed up with the way she is being treated, and seeks a new clan to join. She finds an Arcane clan that accepts dragons of various types, and promotes a variety of skills and battlestyles. The clan lacked a distinct leader, and struggled to find solutions to problems as their population grew. Opal began to befriend all the dragons in the clan over time. She becomes a sort of negotiator, helping act as a mediator between different dragons . Eventually they naturally regard Opal as a leader. A handful of dragons make a proposal to elect Opal as the clan leader. They hold a meeting of the clan, and all dragons are in favour of this leadership. She now acts as a representative when interacting with other clans, suggesting rules and still working alongside those in her clan, and overall acting as a powerful, yet understanding leader. |
