Perhaps part gryphon? Sphynx? Definitely feline ancestry. In spite of that, loves water and is a very good swimmer. His feathers are dense and waterproof. Clever at getting his way and too smart for his own good, he loves picking fights. He's a marine trader who's not really affiliated with any one captain or ship and usually either bullies or bribes his way from one port to the next. If he likes the crew he'll pay his fare by fishing for everyone while they're anchored.
