Ruaq

Ruak (Ru-ah-K) is more machinery than flesh and scales. This old Pearlchatcher saw war with the beast clans first hand. Not long after she was sent to the front lines of her clan to fight them off, Ruaq was captured by the enemy. The only thing that helped her through the long days of interrogations and the long nights in the infested cell was the knowledge her clan would rescue her. While there she met and became unlikely allies with another prisoner. He'd been passing through on his way to no where in particular when the beast clan spotted him. Thinking him a spy, they imprisoned him.

Ruaq finally escaped, with the help of her friend, since the beast clan had broken her body. They made their way to her clan but once there she soon figured out something that changed everything. They had never intended to rescue her. The moment the beast clan took her, her clan, the very clan she swore to protect, wrote her off as a casualty of war.

Ruaq and her friend made their way across Sornieth looking for a place to settle. They had planned to leave An Tir once the harshest of the winter subsided but soon it began to feel more and more like home. Tatsu sees that her machinery and all the others he crafts stay in perfect working order.
