THE GRAVE-DIGGER


Place of Origin: The Wandering Contagion
Backstory: Peloso was born to a small clan of tundras that were attempting to thrive within the desolate and diseased land of The Wandering Contagion. Vegetation was scarce and disease was rampant, so life proved to be very hard for Peloso and his family as he grew up. As a result, Peloso became determined to make something of himself, and to move somewhere where he did not have to struggle every day.

Learning the Trade: One day, Peloso heard about a Priestess in the Viridian who was open to training new dragons in the art of funeral rites. After discussing the training in detail, Peloso decided the new career sounded perfect - his species talent with digging, as well as his own calm and respectful temperament would mesh well with the duties required of a grave-digger within the Nature Flight. The lush vegetation and guarantee that he would no longer have to worry about food was also very tempting. After alerting his close friend Vaermina of his plan, the mirror decided to join him and the pair left the Scarred Wasteland together.

Work in Silence: Soon after his training, Peloso was accepted into the Clan of the Shaded Wood alongside Vaermina. A dragon of few words, Peloso is well-respected within the clan, though he only really calls Vaermina his friend. His job is hard work, as he digs the graves for any deceased clanmembers, whether they are Faes or Imperials. However, not a word of complaint has ever passed his lips.
