he was caught and captured by the seekers and locked up, rotting in his own cell, because as a dead imperial he was a danger to everyone around him, and he knew this but feared moving on, feared it enough to ignore the pull of imperial corpses, ignore the warnings
he managed to escape during the chaos of the seeker emergence by using a gaoler gene on himself after getting out of his cell and leaving
his fur is patchy
maybe skulks around as a feral, outside the clan, eating whatever and whoever he can
maybe lives in the abyss? not a part of the coven but it's the only place his rotten *** is allowed in
each flower could symbolise someone he cared about or loved that passed away, the curse of immortality
gaoler flesh rots away, revealing the imperial skeleton within
