Biography
Missing:
Oh how they eyed each other. It was exciting and worrying but mostly exciting. I had heard that dragons were often the last to be picked when raffle prizes were concerned. But there was one, I had a feeling about that one.
There was a great deal of paperwork to be signed, as I found out, before I could be sent to my new home and it was grating for both of us, I thought. But I used the time wisely and read up on metallurgy and the manners of mirror dragons, I was ready when the time came.
It is a quiet lair and, all things considered, a quiet Clan. There is no rustle and bustle of underaged dragons being slipped through, no rushing of stock and purchasing of rare apparel. This is a contemplative place, good for thinking, good for self-improvement, good for being close to the gods. I think I quite like this Wind god, who speaks in rustles and typhoons, who is by turns calm and tempestuous. This Wind god that was the father of my former Lightning god, I think I can do well here.
My work in mirror manners paid off, when I courted the very fine attention of a shadowy mirror, new in the lair like myself. Her voice was low and mellow and quite easy for me to hear, thankfully, so long as she spoke closely to me, which made it all the easier for me to make the first move with a quick flick of the tongue.
All good things come to an end, I am afraid, and she has gone afield, it took some time to get the story straight, but she is now a hunter… or hammer. I am fairly sure it was the first thing. I did not feel lonely for long though, and soon enough I had the comfortable attention of a lovely skydancer, her ripples a wonderful contrast to my crackles.
The boys came out lovely, as I expected, and I learned more or less how they heard me, and it took some work to get them to speak in the right thrumming hums in return. Their accent is very pleasant, though certainly not mine.
