Sear Fire Runestone Winter's Delight

Sholpan, the fire mage. Although employed as a treaty maker, Sholpan doesn't shy from confrontation. She wields her element deftly and is regarded as a master by the Horsehead Clan.
Other dragons find her raw power intimidating, but the Pearlcatcher harbors a gentle side. She enjoys helping others find their ways in life, painting, and nature poetry. Her affection for the latter is not diminished by the vistas her homeland presents- she has grown to find the most beauty in the life that survives adversity, be it blooming bromeliad or burrowing beetle. In addition to representing the clan in conflicts, she's head of its furnace tenders, and is as often soot-black from raking the coals as from combat.
Sholpan features in Acts of Creation, where she mentors young Valerie in coming to terms with life by the Wyrmwound. Long ago, she too had to become accustomed to a different climate and distinct culture, when she first transferred to the clan.
