lore thoughts:
- much like treesong, he looked like he came from nature despite his natural flight, and he felt out of place
- perhaps he really disliked the culture of plague (or at least that of his clan), and abandoned it
- listed as a g1 because he disowned himself
- similar to mallyx's beliefs? except mallyx was drawn to the shadowbinder specifically; eche doesn't seem to have a specific tie to the gladekeeper specifically. but they'd probably get along regardless
- he's currently a guardian but may not stay that way; could there be a charge involved?

but what if...
- born in plague, family moved to pox consulate; after the broken armistice his family was plague loyal and he felt far more nature loyal bc he grew up here, so he left to find another clan
