Children of Mytha and Rusty are... off. It isn't always obvious; one of them may simply zone out mid-sentence, staring off into the distance as if drawn away, or tilting their head as if they can hear something you cannot, no matter how much you strain your ears. They may seem to be followed by writhing shadows even in the brightest daylight, and no matter how vibrant their colors at birth, by adulthood many of them fade to shifting grays and blacks. Many of them simply disappear. Others become like dragons possessed, clawing and screaming madly at night until their voices are hoarse and their nails are bloody nubs in their paws.
Clans with one of these dragons among them often meet terrible fates.
But really, what can you expect when a Dreamwalker breeds?

This dragon has a venomous bite that can make their enemies dangerously ill or outright kill them, should you so choose. They are also highly resistant to most poisons, and outright immune to some.

Born of the murky waters where the lands of Plague, Water, and Shadow meet, this dragon also has a resistance to diseases, and in fact coming into contact with them might make other dragons mildly ill for a few days until they build up an immunity to this dragon's taint!

Being a Miretooth dragon, they will willingly expose themselves to new toxins and illnesses bit by bit until they are no longer affected by them. Dragons in their clan may enjoy the benefits of a mild form of group immunity, as the oils from this dragon's skin will inevitably leach a weakened form of whatever new toxin or disease this dragon is currently building resistance to.

In battle, should you choose that direction for your lore, this dragon will be a vicious and cunning opponent, utilizing mild forms of Shadow magic to blend into their surroundings. They prefer to ambush their enemies, and strongly prefer close quarters combat in order to utilize their venomous bite.

If you would rather this dragon be a healer or other noncombative class, that's absolutely fine! Their venom can be added in minute quantities to salves and tonics to prevent infections in the wounds they are applied to, and Miretooth dragons do know a good amount about soothsaying, astrology, and other forms of fortune telling, given that their oldest members were originally peaceful Water dragons.

I hope you will enjoy your new Miretooth dragon, should you choose to keep them!

(side note, if you decide to resell or gift them, I would request that this information be placed back into their bio, or mentioned in any lore you sell them with. If you didn't save it, check my lair [Envenom #19233]; any new hatchlings should have this or another variation of it in their bio. If all my current hatchlings aren't pure Miretooth and therefor don't have this version of the description, send me a message and I'll reply with this lore snippet for you!)
