Awen

Awen is a witch doctor who uses a mixture of medical knowledge and dark magic practice to heal her patients. Some of the rituals she uses are dangerous and frowned upon by other witch doctors, but she insists on doing them to heal the sick and wounded that arrive at her feet. She also has been known to perform strange rituals when she believes no one around, which involve strange words being whispered quietly and unusual apparel. Some accused her of worshiping a different deity than those of the Eleven, but she insists that they merely rituals to bring good luck her way. Nevertheless, many dragons fear and avoid her, unless they need healing and are desperate.

Awen is rather blunt, straightforward and often arrogant, acting rather cold sometimes. She has a short temper, and when it goes off, she may use her dark powers against whoever made her mad. She often believes that she is right and everyone else is wrong, refuseing to listen to others.
She has but one ally, a Sprial dragon named Nyx. She caught him spying on her during one of her rituals, but he claimed he wasn't going to stop her, and asked her if he could stay and watch. She allowed him to observe the ritual, passing it off as nothing, but secretly, she was overwhelmed that Nyx was just as fascinated with it as she was. They have become close friends and Awen hopes to remain that way for a long time.
