Uh-oh, looks like this golden Fae, Hufflepuff, wandered a little too far from her home lair, Belief, and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but I'd be very grateful! And if perhaps you'd like to adopt her permanently, contact me as well. I'm open to any conversation :)
Hufflepuff gazed around her now empty den, holding her Healer's Knapsack to her chest as she sighed. Well, this is it. And I'll probably never return again. She had lived out most of her life here. The little Fae had trained to be a healer specializing in natural medicines under Melanie, the healer of Mistral Clan, and though she had enjoyed it, her golden eyes longed for more than the borders of the Plateau. She longed for what lay beyond, no matter the dangers, or the pain, because as she turned away and faced the east, a glimmer of light could be seen through the clouds of night.

2-15-2021 ~ Mistral Clan Today marks the first day of my journeys, a first journal entry, and my leaving of Mistral Clan, which has been my home for as long as I can remember. My hatchlings, my home, my life, they were all here, but now I must depart, and find something new, just as my mate once did, although I hope I do a better job than he did. I at least said goodbye. The winds are brisk tonight, and coming from the south, so a hint of my breath can be seen as I write this from under the cover of a few trees. I've traveled before, but never with such little direction. I'm not sure where I'll be going, but I hope it's somewhere better. Maybe I'll settle down with a new family, and maybe I won't. I hope to at least be able to use my skills in healing to aid someone in need. I must get going now, I can hear something in the bushes, and it's probably best I take to the air. All I know is, I have officially left Mistral Clan borders. 2-16-2021 ~ Vallis Perditorum It's only yesterday that I left Mistral Clan, but I seem to quickly have found myself somewhere new. It's not at all bustling or tight-knit. Rather, it feels a bit lonely. Perhaps it's the air around me that makes it feel this way, or the darkness permeating the lands. I don't know where to go, but I've been welcomed here, so perhaps I'll stay and explore a little. From what I can see, there's a cave entrance and the beginnings of a city. There's also a forest, but it feels abandoned - perhaps I won't go there. Maybe if I come back one day someone braver than will have settled there, and it'll take off some of the nerves. 2-17-2021 ~ Vallis Perditorum I have dug around in the caves a little bit. They go far deeper than you could imagine just looking at them from the surface. Perhaps I was a tad afraid to get lost, but I decided it would be for the best to not venture too deep. On my way back I encountered a Coatl, on her own way back to the surface. She didn't seem surprised to find me, and offered me a stay at her home. I would hate to turn down the offer, so that's where I stayed the night. I'm ready to leave again now. I feel like she knew I wouldn't stay long. She offered me a stone - a moonstone I think she said it was. She told me she hoped I'd return home a better person than I left it. I don't think she meant it as an insult. I'm ready to head off now, and I suppose I'll see where the wind takes me next. 2-18-2021 ~ Clan Ares I have arrived at Clan Ares for a brief moment of rest. Here I was given food and drink and met a few travellers setting out once more, we all spoke briefly to one another and I decided to join them to journey ahead again. 7-3-2021 ~ Clan Burning Fantasies Eventually I ended up in Clan Burning Fantasies I had a very long stay and a few nests here with another jewelry box Fae before heading off finally to a new place. This clan was very lovely to see and spend a long while with. |

- A quiet and reserved little Fae, sometimes Hufflepuff, or Puff by her nickname, can take some time to warm up to you. However, she is a total sweetheart, with a love of helping and serving others. She is extremely self-doubting at times, and often is terrified of the opinions of others. Yearns for a mate with all of her heart, but when it comes down to it, she's downright terrified of love. - Hufflepuff, or Puff, was born into a loving family in the Sornieth, before quickly being sent to live in the Windswept Plateau, in a clan called Mistral. There, she learned her healing profession from a Pearlcatcher named Melany, and served as her assistant for many years. At some point in her life, Puff was traveling with her friends to the Obscured Crescent on a diplomacy mission, and she met another young Fae, quite like herself. He never told her his name, or perhaps he never was named, but the two were deeply in love, and had a nest of three hatchlings together. Even when Puff left to return to Mistral Clan, she visited him frequently, until one day, he wasn't there, and there was news that he had left to travel the world. Furious and heartbroken, Puff has been more reserved ever since. Her first stop after leaving Mistral Clan was Vallis Perditorum, the quiet revival of an older civilization. Many of the dragons there were as much reserved as she was, so it was easy to settle in for the time being. She didn't stay there long - just one night, really, at the home of a Witch by the name of Aeshune. She was a bit odd, but kind enough to let Puff stay and even give her a parting gift.
