ArcaneFire was not like the majority of other Plague dragons. When she played with and pranked her fellow hatchlings her actions lacked the malicious edge present in the behavior of the other children. While she reveled in causing chaos she did not aim to cause pain. Her clan was concerned with her behavior, but ..... Like all young plague dragons gifted with strong magic, ArcaneFire was sent to the great capital city of Contagion to learn at the Infectionists School of Magic. There she excelled. As the top of her class she was expected to join the Plaguebringer's labs, researching new diseased and plague magics to be used in the Plaguebringer's eternal fight with the Gladekeeper. However, ArcaneFire had other plans. Using her prodigious magic she engineered a spell to completely suppress her natural plague curse and disappeared during the chaos of the school's graduation festivities. Determined to learn more magic she headed for the Observatory School of Arcane studies in the Starfall Isle.
