Krokus is a drake, his charge is the emperor Leviathan.

Sat in a shallow tidepool and staring out across the water, he looks almost peaceful. His charge could be the sea, the stars, the future itself. You wouldn’t know until the water begins to stir. The sea turns dark now. An indistinct shadow. First out of the water are its antlers, waterfalls flowing from them like a rocky cliffside. It’s only two at first. Two becomes four, four becomes eight, all flooding the surface with a great wave. The four-headed beast emerges from the water as if in slow motion. Its menagerie of eyes stare towards the pool. Krokus stands, tall and proud, and greets it with a smile.
