About The Song

The Song is an air current that flows over a select path along the Zephyr Steppes and Reedcleft Ascent. This vast gust feeds into the Twisting Crescendo and helps to lift the Cloudsong. Many clans live beneath it, and some worship it as a Minor Deity. The Song is often characterized by the singsong melody of its breezes, and personified versions of it tend to be jovial and sprightly. It plays a huge role in the lives of countless Wind Flight dragons, and has a distinct impression on the inhabitants of Kiran’s Clan.

About The Council

Within Kiran’s Clan is a council involved in decision-making and quality of life. Its ranks are made up of dragons who are considered to be experts in important fields or pillars of the social community- dragons who know themselves and the clan quite well. These dragons are in charge of creating and instating laws, settlings disputes, managing the allocation of funds, and much more. Those who wear Birdskull Apparel are involved with the council; this set of clothing is considered to be a sign of prestige and honor.

About Minor Deities

Minor Deities are secondary focuses of worship which are seen as being above typical dragons but far below the Major Deities that preside over each elemental Flight. They tend to be objects, forces of nature, organisms, or even concepts, and are oftentimes tied to a Major Deity in some way. Dragons oftentimes revere these lesser focuses due to their power and proximity to real Gods and Goddesses. Sometimes a Minor Deity will be recognized and honored due to its importance in the lives of the dragons who worship it as well. Examples of Minor Deities within Kiran's Clan are The Song (an important air current created by Windsinger) and Vija (a bolt of lightning in a Ridgeback's body).

About Appearances

There are many ways for a dragon to permanently alter their appearance, and a good portion of common methods have much to do with wizardry. Any dragon with a significant knowledge of anatomy and basic training in conjuring can operate their own magic-cosmetic business. Specialists are able to alter the patterns (genes), colors, and general body structure (breed) of a customer.
